How does it work?
Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is a free, award-winning innovation programme and national competition for 11-18-year-olds at secondary schools and colleges across the UK and Ireland.
Students (on their own, or in teams of up to four) create a tech-for-good idea in one of three categories:

Smarter Sport
Tech that makes sport more fun, inclusive and helps everyone perform at their best.

Greener Future
Tech that protects our planet and helps us live more sustainable lives.

Safer Online
Tech that keeps us connected, confident and in control.
The resources have been designed to be delivered flexibly to support your students’ needs.
- Run over several form-time sessions
- Deliver in 1–2 lessons
- Use as an enrichment activity or STEM day
- Set the challenge in assembly and complete at home

Students develop a tech-for-good idea!

24 semi-finalists receive support to develop their idea!

Pitch it

9 finalists present their idea to a panel of experts!
Final event: 29-30 April 2027
At each stage, a panel of Samsung and industry experts will judge entries in each age group according to:

- Design process
- Feasibility and thoughtfulness
- People and planet
- Creativity and originality
